Road Trip w/Lilly Car Club Mark your calendar for a road trip
that would make a snake dizzy and a back country sightseer
jealous. September 13th, 1:30 PM, the Lilly Car Club will join
us at the Martinsville Steak & Shake, 1/2 mile South of Hwy 44
on Southeast side of Hwy 37. At 2:00 PM we will begin winding,
and I mean ‘WIND’, for approximately 60 miles over the back
roads of Indiana. We will stop a couple of times for necessary
breaks! Be sure the one in the shotgun seat has a camera; who
knows what we are going to witness?!?
Around 5:00 PM, we should arrive at The Story Inn for a well
deserved rest & dinner. Appetizers range from $5 to $12 and
dinners from $20 to $38. After dessert, if there is still room,
you may return home by any route you wish; choices leading to
Interstate 65, Indiana Hwy 37 or Indiana Hwy 135 will be
provided. For those who didn’t get enough, you can, on your own,
retrace the back country pirouette through Hoosierland.
